Gia Gregory Designs
Gia Gregory has over two decades of experience in design, art and renovation, and co-founded Gregory Design Group with her late husband Wes to design and renovate homes for others, as well as remodeling homes and flipping them for profit. Although Gregory Design Group closed right after Wes' tragic and untimely death, Gia is opting for a fresh start with Gia Gregory Designs.

Beginnings
Gia did not begin her career with an eye toward interior design, although she was an art and design major at Delta State University and started her career designing custom carpet for high-end and luxury commercial spaces, hotels, casinos and corporate offices and intended to become an art director originally. Later, after pursuing a career in product management, project management and marketing, and armed with her practical experience and her lifelong love of art and home, Gia concluded that interior design was her true calling. Gia returned to her roots, first working with her husband Wes at Gregory Design Group, where their passion and experience complemented each other. Working with Wes allowed Gia to learn the construction side of things and they loved the idea that they were making Wilkesboro and the surrounding areas beautiful one home at a time.

A Fresh Start
Gia opened her own eponymous design firm after her husband’s death. Gia Gregory Designs is a boutique interior design firm specializing in full-service design, that is driven by the signature eclectic design aesthetic of its creator and namesake, Gia Gregory, yet is dedicated to bringing to bear her client's personal aesthetic and vision to make their home truly tell their own stories.  The firm takes an all-encompassing approach to design that includes everything from custom and carefully curated residential and commercial interiors to art acquisition and selection to complete project management for your renovation construction project. 

Equally important to having strong creative instincts, Gia’s background has reinforced her strong work ethic, attention to detail, and an ability to see the entire vision and communicate that vision to her clients. In addition to interior design, Gia consults closely with her clients from the earliest stages of a project to ‎guide the design process and identify a strong team of craftspeople to best meet their specific needs, whether needs are for architecture, lighting, landscape design, construction or project management; which typically involves her in most phases of renovation. With her project management background, she supervises every facet of a project and she understands the important relationship between architecture, interior design and function.

Your Home Tells Your Life's Story
Gia relies on the confidence and trust of her clients as she works her magic. She works with her clients to understand how rooms will be lived in and what they want to help them develop their own design aesthetic. This helps her to create designs that live as well as they look, which is, in and of itself, an art. Gia gets excited about recreating and reimagining homes and buildings that others can't see value in—then bringing them back to life. She works to create a vision for every design project, has an exacting eye for design and is a tastemaker who helps inform the tastes of her clients, yet creates designs that truly express their personality.

Gia wants to inspire her clients to want to create luxury in their everyday lives because how you live has a direct impact on how you experience your life. Gia works with some clients who have a strong vision and helps them achieve it. Others are less sure and Gia guides them through the design process, helping them to formulate their own aesthetic as we go along. Gia helps her clients to create homes that reflect who they are in a way that feels fresh and authentic. At the end of the process, your home should and will tell your story.

Gia believes that each home has something that it was meant to be and that preserving and bringing a home's character to life is not only an honor, but a responsibility.  So, preserving and highlighting every home’s originality and one-of-a-kind character is a passion of hers. Gia believes in leaving things better than she found them, that your home should tell your life's story, and that clients should become good friends.
